A source familiar with the escape of the convicted "Hussein Baraka al-Shami" from the hands of the law directly intervene from the office of Prime Minister Haider Abadi.
The source told the agency of all Iraq [where] today, that "where previously the Shiite Waqf to submit a formal request to the Ministry of Interior / Passport Affairs to prevent the convicted Hussein Baraka al-Shami to travel outside the country after the issuance of judicial decisions oblige him to make money to the Office and the evacuation of the site return to stop Shiite ".
"He was prevented from leaving Baghdad airport, but he was allowed to leave within hours and with the intervention of higher authorities," he said.
The source pointed out that "the Shiite Waqf office retains the right to sue all parties and individuals who caused the violation of the law and thus harm the interests of the Waqf and cover the convicts and defend them and prevent the application of the law on them."
It is noteworthy that the Office of the Shiite Waqf issued a statement previously revealed the extent of corruption and financial waste committed by former President Hussein Baraka al-Shami, leader of the Dawa Party, asserting the filing of numerous lawsuits against al-Shami on the seizure of the assets of the Shiite Waqf without a legal face.
