    The Ministry of Justice announced on Wednesday the issuance of the new issue of the Iraqi fact sheet, which included several decrees of the Republic, including the appointment of "Barham Ahmed Saleh" as President of the Republic of Iraq, and the transfer of former President Fuad Masum and his deputies to retire.
    "The new issue of the Iraqi fact sheet was issued by the number 4512, which included several decrees of the republic approved by the House of Representatives and ratified by the Presidency of the Republic," the ministry said in a statement.
    He pointed out that "the number included a decree number 71 for the year 2018, the appointment of Barham Ahmed Saleh as President of the Republic of Iraq, in addition to the presidential decree No. (72) of 2018, the transfer of Mohammed Fuad Masum Khudr, the former president of Iraq to retire."
    He added that "the number also included Decree No. 73 of 2018 to refer Nuri Kamal al-Maliki, Vice President of the Republic to retire, and Presidential Decree No. 74 of 2018, the transfer of Osama Abdul Aziz Nujaifi Vice President of the Republic to retire as included in the decree Republican Decree No. 75 of 2018, Allawi, Vice President of the Republic to retire. "

    The official Iraqi newspaper al-Iraqiya published on Wednesday the decrees appointing Barham Ahmed Saleh as president of the Republic of Iraq, and the transfer of former president Fuad Masum and his three deputies to retirement.

    The Ministry of Justice issued the new issue of the Iraqi Gazette No. (4512), which included several decrees Republic approved by the House of Representatives and ratified by the Presidency of the Republic.

    Director General of the Department, Hind Abdul Jamig, said that the number included Republican Decree No. 71 of 2018 appointing Barham Ahmed Saleh as President of the Republic of Iraq, in addition to Presidential Decree No. (72) of 2018 (referring Mohamed Fuad Masoum Khader, former President of Iraq) .

    The presidential decree No. (73) for the year 2018 (transfer of Nuri Kamal al-Maliki, Vice President of the Republic to retire), and Presidential Decree No. (74) for the year 2018 (transfer of Osama Abdulaziz Nujaifi Vice President of the Republic to retire) and included Issue Presidential Decree No. (75) for the year 2018 (referral of Ayad Hashem Allawi, Vice President of the Republic to retire).

    The statement quoted the Director General of the Department, Hind Abdul Jamig, as saying that "the number included Presidential Decree No. 71 of 2018 appointing Barham Ahmed Saleh as President of the Republic of Iraq, in addition to Presidential Decree No. 72 of 2018, referring Mohamed Fuad Masoum Khadr, the former President of Iraq to retire.

    BAGHDAD ( 

    Reuters) - The referral of the president and his deputies to a "formal decision" will not cancel their retirement from their previous or subsequent positions as deputies in the new parliamentary session, legal expert Tareq Harb said Wednesday.

    "The decision to refer President Fuad Masoom and his deputies: Nuri al-Maliki, Iyad Allawi and Osama Najafi, to retire, a formal decision will not affect their salaries and pensions and the right to choose the salary they receive if the pension or new position" . 

    He pointed out that "the referral of the President of the Republic and his three deputies is a formal referral because of the end of the electoral cycle of their president Fuad Masum, and began the election for the new President Barham Saleh." 

    He stressed that "Vice-Presidents of the Republic receive their pensions from their former positions, as Nuri al-Maliki was the Prime Minister, as well as Iyad Allawi, and Osama Najafi was President of the House of Representatives, and have pensions after retirement to retire from those positions."

    He pointed out to the war that "the pension of the owners and Allawi and Nujaifi higher than the salary of a member of the House of Representatives, as they won membership of the House of Representatives in the new session, and their pension will not be canceled, but they have to choose between maintaining the pension or waiver and the salary of a member of the House of Representatives or the new post in In case of a position in the new government. " 

    Earlier on Wednesday, the Justice Ministry announced the issuance of the new issue of the Iraqi newspaper "Facts" in the number 4512, which included a decree of the appointment of Barham Ahmed Saleh as President of the Republic of Iraq, and the transfer of Mohammed Fuad Masoum Khadr, former President of Iraq, and his three deputies Nuri Kamal al-Maliki , Ayad Hashem Allawi, and Osama Abdul Aziz Nujaifi, to retire.
