    Minister of Labor Mohammed Shiaa al-Sudani announced on Monday the release of the third and fourth payments of social benefits.
    "The ministry has sent 46,000 families to the Ministry of Planning, which was submitted in 2016 through the electronic window to be included in social welfare benefits within the third category of widows, divorcees, invalids and the handicapped," a ministry statement said Monday.
    The statement said that the ministry will send the names of the fourth batch on Tuesday from low-income families, stressing that the Social Protection Authority will conduct a social search to ten thousand families of applicants for the new inclusion in 2016 in preparation for their inclusion in the subsidy later that they did not include field research in a timely manner to reduce the financial allocation .
    The ministry's spokesman, Ammar Menem, said that the launching of the third and fourth rounds of the new coverage will be done in succession. He pointed out that the priority in the coverage will be for widows, divorcees, disabled persons and disabled persons, as they are among the most vulnerable groups in society.
