The General Company for Maritime Transport announced on Friday the transfer of 153,000 tons of rice for the Ministry of Commerce from the port of Ho Chi Minh to the Iraqi ports during October and the second.
In a statement received by Al-Iktissad News, the Director General of the General Company for Maritime Transport Abdul Kareem Kanhal Al-Jabri confirmed that "the company's vessels continue to transport rice from Vietnam to Basra in accordance with the contract between the Ministry of Commerce and the General Company for Maritime Transport."
He added Jabri that 'ships and ships of maritime transport are making outstanding efforts to deliver rice to the Iraqi citizen without any failure and according to the reports of economic control of the Ministry of Commerce'.
