The leader of the construction coalition MP Amer al-Fayez, on Thursday, that the coalition claim that the candidate Interior Faleh al-Fayad outside the agreed standards is not true, while setting a condition for others in exchange for withdrawing the nomination of Fayadh.
Al-Fayez said in a statement to Al-Maaloumah that "Interior Ministry candidate Faleh al-Fayadh is the prime minister's choice and not a candidate for the building alliance, but our coalition is supportive of his nomination by the prime minister."
He added that "the allegation of an alliance that the Fayyad not to apply the criteria of the agreement to nominate is incorrect because the criteria indicate that the opponent of the portfolios should not be a former minister or a current deputy or the head of a registered party and this does not apply to Fayadh," calling for the alliance to "come because of convincing "We should not withdraw support from him."
