    The head of the construction coalition, Hadi al-Amiri, called Saturday, December 31 (the anniversary of the exit of US forces) a national day of Iraq.
    "The withdrawal of US troops from Iraq seven years ago is a great victory for Iraq," Amiri said at a ceremony organized by the Building Coalition on the occasion of the University of Baghdad's Sovereignty Day. "There is a media that seeks to minimize the victories."
    Al-Amiri called for "to consider December 31 as a national day for Iraq and to disrupt the official work, especially since there is no better than this date to celebrate it as a national day."
