Deputy: Parliament formed a joint committee with the government to monitor the revenue movement

The deputy of the Construction Coalition Mohammad Taqi, on Monday, the formation [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/137/%D9%85%D8%AC%D9%84%D8%B3 %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%86%D9%88%D8%A7%D8%A8]of the House of Representatives[/url] a joint oversight committee with the government for the purpose of [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/111482/%D9%85%D8%B1%D8%A7%D9%82%D8%A8%D8%A9 %D8%AD%D8%B1%D9%83%D8%A9 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%A5%D9%8A%D8%B1%D8%A7%D8%AF%D8%A7%D8%AA %D8%BA%D9%8A%D8%B1 %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%86%D9%81%D8%B7%D9%8A%D8%A9]monitoring the movement of non-oil revenues[/url] in order to increase the budget support.
Taqi said that "non-oil revenues, if managed better, will be an important factor in maximizing the resources of the treasury, but corruption has prevented the state access to those resources, so the control was activated and emphasis on the movement of non-oil resources."
He added that "the parliament formed a joint committee comprising a number of deputies and executive officials to monitor and follow the movement of funds resulting from such resources as border ports, tourism and taxation in all forms," stressing that "the committee will start its work after the vote on the budget."
The Agriculture Committee of the parliament accused on Sunday of working to hit the agricultural sector and facilitate the import of agricultural products in conjunction with harvesting in the country.
