    The Minister of Agriculture and Governor of Baghdad on Wednesday called on the Minister of Agriculture and the Governor of Baghdad to stop the work of the Land Department and the suspension of agricultural contracts and public auctions and auctions and only to renew the old contracts, because of information on the existence of organized theft of agricultural land in Baghdad and manipulation and corruption by "some weak souls."
    Nassif said in a statement today that "there are systematic thefts of agricultural land in Baghdad and the conduct of some weak people to manipulate and counterfeiting, and therefore must stop the work of the Land Department immediately and stop agricultural contracts and disclosures and auctions and only limited to renew the old contracts, until the formation of a high committee by the Ministry Agriculture or the House of Representatives to follow up the problem of land and agricultural contracts retroactively for the previous four years and the work of a comprehensive inventory of the remaining.
    And stressed the importance of activating the sentence of the Inspector General, especially the book No. 42715 on 12/11/2017 and the books that followed, including the exclusion of corrupt names that were received because of manipulation and forgery, with the opening of an investigation on the appointment of convicted director.
    Baghdad is witnessing an increase in residential buildings in agricultural areas, natural green belt because of the population momentum, and the lack of construction of units and complexes that meet the need in the capital, which is estimated at a population of millions.

    BAGHDAD / ...
