The Central Bank of Iraq, the rise in sales of foreign currency auction Wednesday, to 153.7 million dollars.
"Total foreign currency sales increased by $ 153.68 million compared to sales of $ 151.26 million on Tuesday, an increase of $ 2.42 million," the bank said in a statement received by Mawazine News.
The statement added that "the exchange rate amounted to 1190 dinars per dollar, in the auction held with the participation of 30 banks only," pointing out that "sales executed today are the results of the day on Thursday."
He pointed out that "the total sales total amounted to 171.95 million dollars," explaining that "the volume of funds sold to strengthen the bank balances abroad amounted to 152.93 million dollars, while the total cash sold at 750 thousand dollars."
He continued: "The amounts transferred to the accounts of banks abroad were sold at a price of 1190 dinars per dollar, and the cash sale will be at the same price." Ended 29/6 n
