SAARON: Modification and simplification of investment law clauses is essential

Al-Sawsoon said on Sunday that the amendment of the provisions of the investment law is necessary in order to get rid of the restrictions and routine procedures that prevent attracting investment companies. He called on the government to speed up the amendment of the law and send it to parliament.
"Most countries are very interested in attracting investment companies through facilities and incentives for investment companies," MP Abbas Alawi said in a statement.
He added that "the investment law passed by the parliament in the past complex complications of foreign investment and it is time for the government to amend and simplify the paragraphs of the law and submitted to parliament," stressing that "the House of Representatives will be the first supporters to simplify the paragraphs of the law will not face any objection."
