The Finance Committee confirmed that the adoption of the civil service law will end bribery, quotas and nepotism in appointments.
"The law of civil service is fundamental and important and we hope after its legislation to eliminate bribery, quotas and nepotism in appointments," said Haneen al-Qado, a member of the committee.
He added that "there are a lot of observations on this law and we need an integrated vision on it to get rid of the problems on it," pointing out that "the previous session saw the legislation of nearly 100 laws half of which appeared defects and returned to parliament so we want a law to legislate and remain a full session at least"..
