Tragic responses to a question for the US military

A few days before the start of the annual recess, during which the Americans remember the people who died while serving in the armed forces, the US military asked its Twitter page how people were affected by the time they spent in the army to get the responses filled with tragedies.
The question has attracted about 10,000 responses since the publication last week, many under unknown identities or details that could not be independently verified, but painted a shocking picture of the price paid by those who fought in US wars.
One user referred to the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, saying they caused him "post-traumatic stress disorder and chronic pain."
The United States launched the war in Afghanistan in 2001 and in Iraq in 2003. The two conflicts killed thousands of US soldiers and wounded many. US forces are still deployed in both countries.
"My father came back from fighting in Iraq and was constantly abusive and angry, and he was subjected to a lot of treatment, but his mental and psychological health was not so good," another user wrote.
"My son served and took part in Operation Enduring Freedom (in Afghanistan) and returned and then was recruited again and committed suicide with a bullet in the head," another said.

Another user responded to the army's question saying that he had been hit by what he described as "post-traumatic stress disorder, severe depression and anxiety." Suicide attempts, unlimited anger, that cost me my relationship with my older son and grandson.
"How did the army service affect me? Ask my family."
In turn, the army thanked everyone who responded on its official page, saying, "Your stories are realistic and important and may help others in similar situations."
"While we honor those who have sacrificed the great sacrifice over the weekend by remembering their service, we recognize that we have to take care of those who have returned to their country carrying invisible scars."
