He added, "Some travel companies and money exchangers followed a business context, which was collecting passports, making tickets, and withdrawing dollars in the names of the holders of those passports," noting that "the committee addressed the Central Bank to set real controls for opening money exchanges and provide sufficient outlets to cover travelers exclusively."
He stated that "the increase in banking offices will lead to manipulation of the issue of withdrawing the dollar and not providing it to those entitled to it," explaining that "the Central Bank has not yet been able to resolve this issue."
He continued, "We submitted a parliamentary question about the controls and mechanism for opening ATMs and bank branches, and this file will be followed up after the Eid."
