By the news agency May 31, 2019 2[/size]Washington: We will punish any country that buys oil from Iran!
US special envoy to Iran, Brian Hawk, announced that the United States will punish any country that buys oil from Iran after May 2, the date of expiry of exemptions in this regard.
Hawk said Washington would impose sanctions "even if a country does not meet the maximum purchase limits that it has negotiated before ... our consistent policy is to stop the purchase of Iranian oil altogether.
The Wall Street Journal said in its turn yesterday that countries such as China and India, which received exemptions in November for the purchase of Iranian oil, could continue to buy crude after May 2 until it reached the maximum it had negotiated.
