    The Committee on oil and energy parliamentary, on Monday, the need to provide oil derivatives and fuel for electric power stations in the province of Basra, noting the importance of spare the Iraqi economy as the region is experiencing tensions that may affect oil exports.
    "The Oil and Energy Committee is determined to monitor the oil and government performance to meet the needs of the people of oil and energy," said Hibt Al Halbusi, head of the committee,
    He instructed "the oil companies in Basra to develop a strategic plan to provide the largest possible number of jobs and employment opportunities and energy conservation needs and to allocate part of the oil imports to develop basic services in the province."
    He explained that "the visit will include access to the work of oil refineries and ensure the achievement of the objectives of the Japanese loan to spend $ 1 billion Mustafa Basra and its importance in developing the work of this important refinery."
    He called on the oil ministry to "take the necessary precautions to confront any escalation or tension that may occur in the Gulf region and promised contingency plans to ensure the passage of oil exports." Ending 25 h
