Salloum said that an expanded meeting of the Assistant Director General and Department Directors was held to discuss and study the file of the plan for the transfer of oil derivatives for the purpose of increasing the rates of transport of black oil from the refineries to the port of Umm Qasr on berth No. 9 through vessels for export outside the country, at a rate of 2000 cubic meters instead of 1000 meters And stressed the need to carry out an intensive campaign to rehabilitate and maintain the sub-railway connecting to the Doura refineries in order to ensure the smooth flow of the trains of loading the black oil, pointing out that the preparations were also discussed to transfer the black oil from Samawah to the southern port of Umm Qasr, After the announcement of the readiness of the loading systems to perform the most important duties assigned to them. Salloum pointed out that the engineering and technical staff of the company started rehabilitating the Baghdad-Faluja railway in cooperation with the security forces for demining by the security specialists for the purpose of running a train between Baghdad and Fallujah. The line will be reopened soon after removing the rubble from the railway lines, bridges and buildings. And completion of the field detection on the railway line, adding that the railway line between the stations of Sheikh Dhari and Karma has been maintained. Saqt said that the Dhi Qar railway has the capacity to transport 2000 cubic meters per day at competitive prices with the provision of safety and ensure that the roads are not damaged by trucks and reduce traffic accidents. He pointed out that the teams of the Department of Railways conducted an on-site disclosure of the refinery and sent data to the ministry to express opinion, An old railway line will provide a line from the refinery to Basra for the transfer of oil after the allocation of funds and obtaining the fundamental approvals by the ministry.
