The Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) disclosed on Tuesday the arrival of Kurdish delegations to meet Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi and hand over his government 250,000 barrels.
She said a member of the House of Representatives of the Democratic Party, Ikhlas al-Dulaimi, "The region will deliver 250 thousand barrels, agreed within the budget of 2020."
"There have been problems with the federal government, over the course of this year, on how to deliver the Kurdistan region of 250 thousand barrels of oil to the federal government through the Oil Marketing Company (SOMO)," Dulaimi said.
Al-Dulaimi confirmed that "Kurdish delegations are due to meet with Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi to resolve the oil dispute between the federal government and the region, and to deliver the quota in the estimated budget of 250 thousand barrels," noting that "after that we will go to amend the budget of the region during the current fiscal year."
