The head of the Rafidain parliamentary bloc, Yonadim Kanna, on Saturday, a political dispute between the heads of government and the Republic over the proposed parliamentary elections law, pointing out that the government adopted an electoral law similar to the laws of Germany and Japan.
Kanna said in a statement to the information, that "my presidency sent a law with the participation of experts in the elections to the government that it disagreed with some of the items," noting that "the government made some amendments to the law on the election of the House of Representatives, which included the announcement of the results through the electoral district Any advance in the judiciary with the inclusion of 50 percent of the highest votes and the remaining political blocs ”
"The government has adopted an electoral law similar to the electoral laws in Germany and Japan to ensure fair elections without interference by parties," Kanna said.
He explained that "the law has been read in a preliminary and will be presented again to the parliament to put the amendments he deems necessary and then put it to the vote at the end of next week." Ends / 25 KD
