On Monday, the Ministry of Planning affirmed its keenness to resume all suspended and idle projects in all governorates.
The Ministry's media office said in a statement, "Economy News" received a copy of it, that "Minister of Planning Nuri Sabah Al-Dulaimi received this morning the governor of Al-Muthanna Ahmed Menfi."
The office added, "The Minister of Planning discussed during the reception of the governor of Al-Muthanna the reality of service maintenance and ways to invest allocations in vital projects and provide jobs through them for young people."
Al-Dulaimi stressed, according to the statement, "The ministry seeks to unify local and international efforts to achieve services according to the priorities of the citizen and his daily need."
The Minister called on local governments to "the necessity of optimal investment in the decision of the Council of Ministers to give governors the power to direct direct invitations to companies implementing investment projects", stressing "the importance of selecting specialized companies with high efficiency."
