[rtl]Parliament is close to completing the constitutional amendments [/rtl]

[rtl]Today, Thursday, the Parliamentary Constitutional Amendments Committee disclosed that close to finalizing the amendments to the constitution and submitting them to the popular referendum.[/rtl]
[rtl]Deputy Committee Chairman Yusef Mohamed said in a statement to the semi-official newspaper, Al-Sabah: "The committee had previously taken the opinions of citizens, elites and legal experts to discuss constitutional amendments that can be agreed upon, in addition to other disputed articles."[/rtl]
[rtl]He added, "The committee produced these materials for discussion in general, to reach satisfactory solutions for all parties," noting that it "has accomplished more than 50 percent of its work within the time specified for it within four months."[/rtl]
[rtl]For his part, the deputy of the Alliance of Fath, Fadel Al-Fatlawi, said in a press statement: "The Constitutional Amendments Committee is limited to four months to finalize all amendments, and therefore the completion of this file will be the beginning of next month or the beginning of the new legislative term for Parliament." [/rtl]
