Allawi said in a post on his Facebook page, "The name Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi has been circulated as a candidate for the presidency of the Council of Ministers. I tell those who do not know me that I am not one of the class who does not fulfill his covenant, and I consider the failure to fulfill the covenant as contradictory to the faith; The ministers have to give up my second nationality. "
He added: "I do not ask any political party or any political bloc to nominate me for the position of Prime Minister, but I ask them not to mind who will run for this position and respond to the desire of the honorable Iraqi citizens and their representatives in the squares, and not to stand in the way of forming a government that It will not be a partisan quota government but a government of competent and impartial independents with the participation of some peaceful demonstrators at the level of ministers or without it. /
