America postpones the "ASEAN" summit against the backdrop of the spread of Corona

The United States postponed a summit of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) that was scheduled to be held in Las Vegas next month, due to concerns about the emerging Corona virus.
"At a time when the international community is working together to defeat the emerging Corona virus, the United States, in consultation with its ASEAN partners, has made the difficult decision to delay the meeting of ASEAN leaders," the official said, speaking on condition of anonymity.
An American was to host the leaders of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations on March 14.
The official added that the United States "values our relations with the countries of this sensitive region, and looks forward to future meetings."
