, the Badr Parliamentary Bloc revealed, on Monday, that there is a tendency to choose a candidate to head the new government after Mohammed Allawi’s apology, from outside the political process.
The head of the bloc, Muhammad al-Ghabban, said, "The political blocs did not hold a meeting regarding the alternative candidate," stressing that "the trend is going to choose a candidate to head the new government after Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi apologized from outside the political class."
He added that "the best option is for the caretaker government to remain until the parliament dissolves itself and to hold early elections within 6 months."
