The deputy of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Muhammad Al-Baldawi, confirmed, on Sunday, that there is no possibility to dissolve the parliament and leave the government without oversight bodies, pointing out that many issues and laws within parliament must be resolved before going towards the dissolution of the parliament.
Al-Baldawi said in a statement to "the information", that "everyone is waiting for the federal court law to be approved and the election law amended, provided that the election is done with the biometric card, as well as the budget approval."
He added, "The government and the Commission, if they have an intention to hold elections, they must provide evidence of work, preparations and capabilities in order to hold them."
Al-Baldawi explained, "Parliament cannot be dissolved before the completion of what was mentioned above, especially since the country suffers from the absence of local councils, as well as provincial councils, supervisory authorities or inspectors' offices, and therefore there is no one to monitor the performance of the current government in the event that parliament is dissolved." End / 25 n
