The Education Committee in the House of Representatives announced, on Monday, that a project to build a thousand schools from the Chinese loan will be included in the 2021 budget.
The head of the committee, MP Qusay Al-Yasiri, said, according to the official agency, that "all the requirements for building 1,000 schools from the Chinese loan have been completed." Indicating that "a letter has been directed to all governorates and directorates of education to present the lands on which schools will be established, according to the proportions of the population."
Al-Yasiri added, "The loan has been included in the budget paragraphs, and construction will start after approval."
