The Supreme Committee to Combat Coronavirus in the Kurdistan Region held a meeting on Tuesday to assess the health situation in the region after the return of the high rate of infections and deaths from the Coronavirus.
A spokesman for the Regional Ministry of Health, Aso Hweizi, said that the committee will assess the epidemiological situation, adding that the Ministry of Health will present its report in this regard.
In Erbil, the committee held the meeting this time away from the presence of the media, fearing the spread of the virus among the representatives of those means, and the Ministry of Health in the region would not be able to subject all of them to medical examination.
