    On Friday, the Ministry of Transport announced the rehabilitation of a railway line(Baghdad - Mosul).

    A statement by the ministry, which "people" received a copy of, (April 30, 2021) stated, "The engineering and technical staff of the Ministry of Transport / the General Company for Iraq Railways continue their campaign to rehabilitate the (Baghdad - Mosul) railway line to the Mosul station, in preparation for To replayRunning of freight and passenger trainsIn the near future for the entire northern region. "  
    "This is in light of the directives of the Minister of Transport, Captain Nasser Hussein Bandar Al-Shibli, to continue efforts and restore life to the affected areas, and continuous follow-up and field visits to the sectors of the northern region before," he added.General Director of Railways, Mr. Talib Jawad Kazem Al Husseini.  
    He continued, "As the area witnessed the loading of hinged wooden beams and hinged parts from the Debs station to rehabilitate the railway lines and joints in the refinery.In Baiji, as well as a station in front of Dor. "  
    Al-Husseini said, "What the region witnessedAmong the various field activities in the (Hammam Al-Alil - Mosul) sector, through the direct extension of the railway connections on the archways that have been completed, and the removal of debris from the Al-Sukkar Bridge and the Al-Bou Seif railway tunnel in km 398, as well as the Al-Ghazlani Bridge in km 402, as it witnessed the process of removing the rubble and starting the burial work. Work is continuing in full swing, and on all axes within the vicinity of the area to prepare the requirementsNecessary to run its trains from Baghdad to Mosul all the wayTo Turkey via the dry canal to support the economyAnd to maximize the financial resources of the company. "
