    Today, Friday, the Al-Fateh Alliance called on the Ministry of Finance to instruct the Popular Mobilization Authority to start the procedures for returning those whose contracts have been canceled, stressing that the talk about the lack of sufficient financial allocations to return those whose contracts have failed is inaccurate.
    In a statement, Al-Ayyam News received a copy of it, Al-Fath said, "For more than a year and a half, we have been following up in the House of Representatives, with the Ministry of Finance and the competent authorities, the issue of returning those whose contracts were canceled from the members of the Popular Mobilization Forces." Their contracts are in defense, interior, the popular crowd and the anti-terrorism apparatus. Measures have been taken and contracts for this segment in defense, interior, and the counter-terrorism apparatus have been returned.
    He added that “while the decision regarding the people of the crowd was not implemented, and a committee was formed in the office of the former prime minister, Dr. Adel Abdul-Mahdi, with the membership of the central administration in the crowd and others. After setting controls and checking the priorities, the committee reached that the number included in the return is 35 thousand,” explaining, The decision in April 2020 that their return is through a transfer of degrees between the Ministry of Defense and the Interior to the crowd. The decision was not implemented due to the government change.
    The coalition continued, "Then we followed up on their case and demanded that they be added in the borrowing law to finance the deficit, and this paragraph was not implemented, and we continued to follow up and demand a solution to their problem until the 2021 budget came, which includes an addition of 30 thousand degrees for the crowd to return their broken contracts and we were glad.
    He stressed that “after controversy and discussions about the budget and the reduction of expenditures by approximately 20% of the total budget, political parties and some members of the Finance Committee demanded to delete the paragraph of whose contracts had been canceled because it caused great embarrassment because it came with eleven trillion allocated to degrees and contracts, and these funds were deleted and the title of those whose contracts were abrogated was preserved. It will explode the situation inside the council and force the addition of the rest of the paragraphs.
    Al-Fateh explained, "The compromise that was agreed upon with the Finance Committee, the Mobilization Committee and the heads of the blocs with whom it was agreed, was to place financial allocations within the crowd's budget without the need to mention its address, and this is what has already been done," noting that "sufficient financial allocations have been put in place to address the issue of their return." .
    He explained that "what we are prompted to write this detail is what we see and hear from a conversation about the lack of sufficient allocations to return those whose contracts have been canceled, and it is an inaccurate conversation, and we can speak with them in the language of numbers in the attached tables, which the Chairman of the Finance Committee spoke a few days ago."
    The coalition called on the "Ministry of Finance to instruct the Mobilization Authority to start the return procedures within the ceiling of its financial allocation for this year, in order to end the suffering of these young people, just like their peers in defense and the interior," stressing that "these young people are the first people to return because most of them were compelling circumstances because they were cut off from work." And among them, there are more than seven thousand wounded, with various degrees of disability.
    According to the statement, the coalition carried out the results of the procrastination in returning the Hashd's youth to service under unreal pretexts, so how can the government explain the additional funds for their return, and now it refuses to give approval for their return even though it will not cost an addition of one dinar.
    He pointed out that "our support will continue for our sons who have canceled their contracts in the popular crowd until they obtain their rights just like their brothers from those whose contracts have been revoked from the defense and the Interior who have been returned to service, and we will stand with them through all legal methods."
