    Today, Wednesday, the Ministry of Planning confirmed that the job number project currently underway will be related to the disbursement of salaries in a later period, and while identifying its advantages, it revealed the number of employees who have unified national cards.
    The ministry's spokesman, Abdul Zahra Al-Hindawi, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the job number project will include all state ministries and agencies not associated with a ministry, governorates and all state institutions," indicating that "the system will be a database that includes all state employees of various levels and levels." .
    He added, "Since the start of the project at the end of last year and until now, more than two million and 500 thousand job numbers for state employees have been entered and work continues, that is, at the rate of entering 50 thousand numbers per week."
    He pointed out that "work on the project will end before the end of this year," stressing that "there are mobile work teams formed by the Ministry of Planning, which visit ministries, governorates and all institutions with the aim of completing this project."
    He explained, "The job number is of great importance to address many problems in the functional body, and it will also give a clear picture of the government to draw future policies and know the size of financial expenditures at the level of the coming years and the nature of knowledge of the specializations and experiences in state institutions.
    He continued, "The project will be linked to the issue of salary disbursement, that is, after the job number platform is completed, salaries will be launched through this platform, as the Ministry of Finance notifies institutions to release salaries through it."
    He pointed out that "there are steps and future work to link this project with the biometric data of the unified national card after the national card is completed for all state employees."
    He pointed out that "there are 500 thousand employees who have not yet received the unified national card," indicating that "there is work and coordination with the Ministry of Interior for the purpose of issuing a unified card for all employees, so that the job number project is then linked to the biometric data of the employee's unified national card.
