A member of the Parliamentary Oil, Energy and Natural Resources Committee, Ghaleb Muhammad Ali, confirmed that Iraq achieved the highest revenues this month from oil exports since the year two thousand and nineteen.
Ali said in a statement that Iraq sold its crude oil during the current month at an average of sixty-two dollars a barrel, indicating that the total revenues achieved reached more than five and a half billion dollars, indicating that this amount when transferred amounts to eight trillion dinars, in addition to other revenues. Non-oil, which amounted to a trillion dinars, to become the number nine trillion dinars entered the Central Bank of Iraq during the current month.
He pointed out that the existence of these large sums could not provide a decent life for the Iraqi citizen, as he put it.
