A statement by Al-Asadi's office said that Al-Furat News received a copy of it today that "during the meeting, they discussed strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries, and developing joint cooperation in various fields, especially in the security field."
He pointed out that "the two sides discussed the ongoing preparations for the reopening of the Swiss embassy in Baghdad, which would develop relations between the two countries and joint coordination between them in various issues and files, as well as open broader horizons for cooperation in the field of economy and investment."
