Sharifi: Iraq can deter Turkey militarily

The strategic expert, Ahmed Al-Sharifi, confirmed, on Wednesday, Iraq's ability to deter Turkey militarily in response to its military presence in the Kurdistan region. Al-Sharifi said, in a statement to Kurdish media, that the presence of the political role with regard to the Turkish attacks does not negate the reluctance to take deterrent military measures, because no country does not possess the elements of deterrence, indicating that there are a number of measures that can be taken. He added that "the possibilities are available to take many measures, but they are conditional on providing the element of free will, wondering is the will of the political decision-maker free?
