, Friday, the Parliamentary State of Law bloc criticized the electricity crisis in the country, while describing the government's performance as indifferent to the suffering of Iraqis.
The bloc issued a statement, of which Mawazine News received a copy, that "the suffering of our dear Iraqi people in light of the high average temperatures has reached an extent that cannot be tolerated due to the deterioration of electric power and its continuous interruptions in this hot summer," while we note with great regret the indifference and indifference from The Ministry of Electricity is at the heart of this crisis, in addition to the silence of the government, which is standing by and watching the suffering of people, especially the sick and the elderly.
She added, "We in the State of Law bloc register our absolute rejection of this government's performance, which is indifferent to the suffering of Iraqis as they broadcast their daily complaints about power outages."
The bloc called for urgent practical measures to be taken to relieve this long-standing suffering, as the situation no longer allows for procrastination as much as it calls for serious and quick treatments from the government so that the Ministry of Electricity fulfills its responsibility related to serving citizens in addressing the crisis they suffer around the clock.
And she continued, that she calls on the three presidencies, the government and parliament to assume the national responsibility urgently to put an end to this ordeal and daily suffering. Ended 29/R77
