The Minister of Construction, Housing, Municipalities and Public Works, Benkin Rekani, announced today, Wednesday, the start of a project to rehabilitate 42 residential neighborhoods in Diwaniyah Governorate. This came during his visit to the governorate to follow up on a number of service projects.
Rikani confirmed, in a statement received by Al-Eqtisad News, that under the guidance of Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, the largest package of projects in Iraq was launched in Diwaniyah Governorate, which included various service sectors, explaining that a joint operations room will be formed with the local government, and field visits to the governorate will be intensified. To follow up on these projects and completion rates.
Rekani explained that the residential neighborhood rehabilitation project is considered one of the most important projects in the governorate, as the work includes extending water and sewer lines and communications networks, in addition to paving streets and rehabilitating sidewalks.
