leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, vowed, on Sunday (July 11, 2021), to impose "severe" penalties if it was proven that there was a relationship between members of his movement and the ministries of health, electricity and finance.

Al-Sadr said during his meeting with members of the Sadrist movement’s political body and members of the Sairoon Parliamentary bloc, followed by IQ News, that from any country that does not respect Iraq, we will not deal with it positively, explaining that “if we were the ones who bombed Al-Khadra and Erbil, the occupation would have become a prophet and we would have become terrorists.”

He added, "If Fustat Al-Islah does not win the upcoming elections, Iraq will be vulnerable to the printing press," noting that "if the current takes over the prime ministership and fails, this is an insult to the reputation of the sect and the patriots."

In a separate context, he pointed out that "the issue of dollar prices is critical and the recent decision is sympathetic to the people and the government finds other benefits to raise the dollar exchange rate."

He explained, "It is better to reduce the dollar exchange rate, but the government finds benefits in raising it, and I sympathize with the people."

On accusing the movement of controlling electricity, health and finances, al-Sadr stressed that "the ministers are not affiliated with the Sadrist movement," noting that "if I discover a relationship between these ministries and the movement, I will take tougher measures than the Kaskosa." Al-

Sadr concluded his speech by saying, "I chose to live among people." In Hananah, I did not move to Al-Khadra.”[/size]
