Today, Wednesday, the Supreme Judicial Council discussed a number of issues of concern to women.
A statement by the judiciary stated, "The President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Faiq Zeidan, met with a number of women's rights activists."
The statement added, "Judge Zeidan listened to his point of view on a number of issues of concern to women and the role of the judiciary in supporting the enactment of their own laws."
