    Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs revealed that there is a deficit of 80 billion dinars in the salaries of the protection network for the remaining months of this year, denying the existence of a new coverage in it currently.
    The head of the Social Protection Authority in the ministry, Huda Sajjad Mahmoud, said in a press statement, "The funds allocated to the authority were reduced from five trillion to three trillion and 500 billion dinars," adding that "two trillion dinars of the funds allocated to the authority were transferred to the development of the regions, as well as 70 billion transfers. dinars to the People with Disabilities Authority, which led to the inability to open a new inclusion of benefits.”
    And she indicated that “the Protection Authority is currently granting subsidies to one million and 400 thousand families, or about four million and 480 thousand individuals, at a rate of 300 billion dinars per month,” revealing “there is a deficit of 80 billion dinars for the remaining months of this year,” noting that “there has been an increase The amount of the subsidy for the beneficiary families, and it became 275,000 dinars for a man’s family, and 325,000 dinars for a woman’s family.
    Sajjad revealed that "there are 750,000 previous approvals with the authority, according to which about 189,000 of them were entered into its database, but it can only be granted after new financial allocations are received, either through transfers or the approval of a supplementary budget," warning citizens "not to deal with commenters Or fictitious offices or extortionate people who falsely illusion that they are included in the protection network subsidies.”
