And the office said in a statement, Mawazine News received a copy of it, that “a meeting of the National Forces was held today, Saturday, at the government palace, under the patronage of Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi, in the presence of Parliament Speaker Muhammad Al-Halbousi, President of the Supreme Judicial Council Faiq Zaidan, the Elections Commission, and a mission United Nations in Iraq.
He added, "The commission offered a detailed explanation of its technical preparations and ability to hold the elections on the scheduled date on the tenth of next October, and Al-Kazemi confirmed the government's adherence to the scheduled date for holding the elections, and its ability to provide the appropriate atmosphere to conduct them with high flow."
He pointed out, "The national political forces have unanimously agreed to hold the elections on their scheduled date, on the tenth of next October, and adhere to this date."
Al-Kazemi and the political forces renewed the call for the political blocs to boycott the elections; To reverse its decision, as Al-Kazemi suggested the formation of a committee of the national political forces to dialogue with the boycott blocs, and persuade them to reverse its decision; In order to unify efforts during the next stage.
