    Today, Sunday, the Integrity Commission revealed that it had arrested a number of suspects in the Real Estate Registration Department in Maysan; For carrying out real estate transactions in agricultural lands, the value of which is estimated at tens of billions, in violation of the law.
    The investigation department of the authority stated, according to a statement received by the “National News Center”, that “the Maysan Investigation Office team was able to seize the audit and records officials in the department, in addition to two members of the detection committee, while arrest warrants were issued against real estate registration assistants and other employees in The department indicated that the accused had transferred the ownership of agricultural lands in violation of the law, as well as making bogus statements.
    The department added that “those works that were carried out without the approval of the competent departments, contrary to the controls and instructions; It led to the fragmentation of agricultural lands in the province, whose values ​​amount to tens of billions of dinars.”
    She explained that “a seizure report was organized for the operation, which was carried out based on a judicial note, and presented, along with the defendants, to the judge of the investigative court specialized in integrity issues in Maysan; who decided to arrest the accused in accordance with the provisions of Article (340) of the Penal Code.”
    It is worth noting that “the authority announced on the tenth of last August that it was able to seize (381) files in which real estate transactions were made in violation of the controls and instructions.”
