    The Federal Integrity Commission announced, on Monday, the seizure of a cleaning contract worth 18 billion dinars for including violations, in Nineveh Governorate.

    The commission said in a statement that “Nass” received a copy of it, (November 15, 2021), that “the commission’s investigations department, while talking about the seizure process that was carried out according to a judicial memorandum issued by the investigative judge of the court specialized in looking into integrity issues in Nineveh Governorate, based on The special report of the field team of the Commission's Investigation Directorate in the governorate, reported the implementation of the control process for the priorities of the project contract for the project to clean the left coast of the governorate, concluded with a private company.  
      
    And the department continued, according to the statement, that "the investigations of the Directorate through the field team led to the presence of a set of violations in the project contract concluded by the Mosul Municipality Directorate with a private company in the amount of (17,967,150,000) billion dinars for a period of three years, to clean the left coast of the city of Mosul. waste, and transported it to the sanitary landfill, due to several violations that marred the contract.  
      
    And she indicated, "The directorate organized a fundamental report that included the seizures, and presented it to the competent investigative judge, who decided to conduct an investigation in the criminal case, based on the provisions of Article (340) of the Penal Code."  
      
    The statement concluded, "The head of the commission, Judge Al-Saadi, stressed, during his meeting in mid-August, the governor of Nineveh and the directors of its departments, the importance of coordinating work between the commission and the governorate's institutions, to achieve the common goal of accelerating the pace of project implementation, reconstruction and delivery of services to citizens, pointing out The authority's endeavor to preserve public money does not at all intersect with the achievement of these goals.
