     Baghdad: Duaa Abdul Amir

The Ministry of Planning intends to launch the third strategy to reduce poverty for the years (2023-2027), while confirming that this strategy will complement the previous years.
The ministry launched the first strategy in 2010 to 2014, while the second continues for 2022. Through these strategies, the ministry aims to reduce poverty rates in the country to acceptable rates.
Ministry spokesman Abdul-Zahra Al-Hindawi said: This strategy differs from the previous one because it will take into account the economic transformations after the Corona pandemic, noting that it “will be complementary to the Ministry’s plans to target poor and fragile areas with programs and government support.”
