Saleh: Today we are facing major challenges and a guarantee that terrorist tragedies will not be repeated

{Political: Al Furat News} The President of the Republic, Barham Salih, stressed the need for the new government to be able to address the challenges.
Saleh said in his speech at the official forum for the second anniversary of the martyrdom of the leaders of victory today: The martyr Qassem Soleimani came to us at a difficult moment in the Iraqi people's response to a dangerous terrorist attack.
He added, "We left the two martyrs, the two leaders, Soleimani and Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, knowing that martyrdom is the ultimate goal, and here we remember the steadfastness of our people in the face of the most severe terrorist attack."
He stressed, "It is necessary to achieve radical reform and meet the aspirations of the Iraqi people, and we want a respectable and capable state that harnesses the country's resources to serve the people."
Saleh stressed that "establishing a stable, sovereign Iraqi state is the starting point for ending crises in the region."
