    An informed source told Al-Furat News that: "Sinan Al-Shabibi passed away this morning in Geneva, Switzerland."
    Al-Shabibi's niece, Nawar Al-Shabibi, posted on her Facebook page that, with hearts that believe in God's decree, we mourned the death of my dear uncle Dr. Sinan Muhammad Reda Al-Shabibi, the former governor of the Central Bank of Iraq, who passed away in Geneva / Switzerland today.
