The Central Bank reassured the employees that there is no tendency to reduce their salaries, pointing out that it refuses to intimidate them.
Deputy Governor of the Central Bank, Ihsan Shamran Al-Yasiri, told the official agency, and “Ultra Iraq” followed him, that “the central bank extrapolates the economic situation from several angles, as the oil resources exist, and there are directions for the government against the background of issuing the white paper, to improve the tools of the financial authority, which are Customs, levying, taxes and qualitative performance in other resources," noting that "oil prices are now reasonable."
He added, "We refuse to intimidate employees with a reduction in salaries, and there must be general reassurance," noting that "if the next government acts with guidance, the employees who receive salaries, subsidies and pensions from the state, who are more than 7 million, and at least 5 people are associated with it, It's hard to think of exposure to this group of about 35 million people."
