    Information / Diyala...
On Wednesday, a government official revealed important details about villages erased from the map in Diyala.
The director of Al-Saadiya district (60 km northeast of Baquba), Ahmed Al-Zarkoshi, said in an interview with Al-Information, that “many of the heinous crimes committed by ISIS gangs in Diyala have not been shed light on them after 2014, and they constitute another page of what extremist thought has caused great harm to all.” levels".
Al-Zarkoushi added, "In the countryside of Saadiya, ISIS cells blew up the houses of the villages of Rabia and Muhammad Haider, and then razed them in a way that suggests that the organization is seeking to wipe the two villages off the map," stressing that "more than 150 residential homes have completely disappeared and only the land remains."
He pointed out that "the crime of the villages of Muhammad Haider and Rabi'a is one of the crimes of the black era, in reference to the period of ISIS control of Saadiya and its villages, some of which lasted months before its liberation, stressing that the two villages did not reach them until now, and the people have been on a journey of displacement that has been going on for 7 years." .
He continued, "Many of the painful stories are still stored in the memories of the liberated areas, which must be documented to be a witness for future generations about the danger of extremism and its criminal acts against the land and people."
Saadiya is the first city that ISIS terrorist gangs occupied after the June 2014 before the Popular Mobilization Forces and security formations were able to liberate it at the end of 2014. End / 25 F
