, the Federal Integrity Commission announced, on Monday, that it had seized "violations and suspicions of corruption" that accompanied the signing of a contract to build a naval barge for the Basra Oil Company, indicating that the value of the contract amounts to 56 million dollars.
And the investigation department of the authority said, in a statement received by Mawazine News, that "the Basra Oil Company signed a contract with the Korean company (ENM) to build a naval barge worth $56,000,000," noting that "the Basra Investigation Directorate's work team, which He moved to the Basra Oil Company - Contracts Department, and revealed the existence of financial and administrative violations and suspicions of corruption in the contract concluded between the two companies.
The department added that "the process of executing the contract with the Korean company was contrary to the purposes for which the contract was based," noting that "a large number of companies were invited before the referral to the Korean company."
And she continued, "A fundamentalist seizure report was organized in the operation that was carried out in accordance with a judicial seizure memorandum, and presented to the judge of the Integrity Investigation Court in Basra, to take appropriate legal measures." Ended 29/N33
