Today, Wednesday, Kurdish leader Massoud Barzani discussed developments in the political process with the representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq, Jenin Plasschaert, in Erbil.
A statement by Barzani's office said that visions were exchanged on the latest developments in the political process in Iraq and the constitutional steps in forming the new government and appropriate solutions to pass the political process in the country.
The meeting discussed the problems of the region and Baghdad, coordination and joint action between the regional government and the Iraqi government, and the role of the United Nations in this regard.
