The Ministry of Agriculture announced, today, Saturday, the trend towards postponing the repayment of loans and canceling the interests incurred by fish and poultry farmers.
And the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, Mahdi Sahar Al-Jubouri, stated, "The Ministry of Agriculture addressed the Higher Committee for the Agricultural Initiative regarding canceling interests and postponing the payment of loans incurred by fish and poultry breeders and including this in the budget law for the current year, as happened in last year's budget," noting that "the ministry is awaiting a response." From the Prime Minister’s office in this regard, and a decision will be made on this matter soon.”
Al-Jubouri added, "A meeting was held two days ago with fish breeders, and their projects were put forward with the projects of poultry owners, and the Supreme Committee for the Agricultural Initiative, headed by Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi, was approached," stressing that "a date will be set for holding the first session of the agricultural initiative by the Prime Minister, with the aim of approving The Ministry’s work mechanisms, and the Agricultural Bank will be executing the Ministry’s decisions.” Ended 29/h
