Shafaq News/ The Kurdistan Regional Government announced, on Friday, that the largest share of taxpayers is 23% of the total tax revenues, noting that tax revenues are spent in providing services and implementing projects in addition to providing employee salaries.
The Department of Information and Information in the Kurdistan Regional Government explained in a video clip that included a report in which she talked about the process of receiving taxes and spending their revenues in Kurdistan, and that a large part of them are spent on services. According to the report, taxes for the largest payers amounted to 23 percent of the total tax revenues, noting that tax revenues are spent in the field of providing services and implementing projects, in addition to providing part of the salaries of workers in the public sector.
He added that the total income of tax revenues achieved in the year 2021 amounted to 796 billion Iraqi dinars, and that 182 billion dinars of those revenues were generated by major taxpayers in the region.
