Hackers carry out one of the most violent attacks on cryptocurrency
Shafaq News/ In one of the most violent attacks in the history of the crypto industry, the "Ronin Bridge" that links different block chains (Blockchain) revealed that hackers infiltrated and stole about 590 million dollars.
Computers known as Nodes were attacked by Sky Mavis, the company behind the game Axie Infinity, and Axie DAO that supports Ronin Bridge - an app It allows people to easily convert encrypted tokens into tokens that can be used on the Ronin network.
The hacker stole 173,600 Ethereum and 25.5 million USDC tokens from the bridge in two operations, according to the Ronen Network, which revealed that the hack occurred on March 23, but was only discovered on Tuesday.
This attack is the latest attack to reveal that bridges are often problematic, as many bridge codes are not subject to revision. It is often not clear who runs it and how exactly it is managed. The identities of those proving the authority, who are supposed to order transactions on the bridges, are often shrouded in a veil of secrecy and ambiguity.

The price of Ron, a token used on the Ronin blockchain, dropped 20% after the hack was revealed. The price of AXS, a token used in the game Axi Infinity, has fallen by 6%, according to CoinMarketCap.
In its blog post, Ronen said it is in contact with major crypto exchanges and blockchain tracker Chainalysis to monitor the movement of stolen assets.
